- Ladies: This is why your vagina smells like fish

Many women don't realize that they have three different openings in the private region, and each of these opening has its own unique environment, protected by something we call "natural flora."
Natural flora are friendly bacteria that keep things healthy and in balance around those places.
You have:
1.The urethra - this is where you pee from,
2.The vagina - this is the reproductive and sexual canal,
3.The anus - this is where you pass stool.
Each of these has its own bacteria and pH that help it do its job. But when you move bacteria from one area to another, or change the natural pH (acidity) around any of the areas, problems start.
Things like infections, foul smell, itching, unusual discharge, or even urinary tract infections starts to manifest.
For example, after using the toilet, if you wipe from back to front, you can drag harmful bacteria from the anüs to the vagina or urethra. That's how many women get UTIs or vaginal infections without even knowing the cause.
The same thing can happen if you go from anal sex to vaginal sex without proper cleaning.
Also, using harsh soaps, antiseptics, or douching can kill off the good bacteria in the vagina. This opens the door for yeast and other bad bacteria to overgrow.
Thing is, the vaguna is self-cleaning; it doesn't need perfume or Dettol to stay fresh. It needs balance.
So please, protect your flora!
(A). Wipe from front to back
(B). Avoid harsh soaps (or avoid soaps completely)
(C). Pee after sex
(D). Don't insert things unnecessarily inside your väginä
And most importantly, let your vagina breathe (use cotton pants and avoid tight nylon underwear)
Respect your body's natural system. Because, when the flora is balanced, you'll feel fresh, clean, and healthy down there. But When it's not - that's when you start to smell like fish down there.
